JetBlue and British Airways cleared for codeshare flights

Washington: A substantial codeshare agreement between British Airways and JetBlue Airways has been approved by the US Department of Transportation (DOT). Through reciprocal codeshare agreements, the airlines will link their networks to a multitude of destinations in the United States and Great Britain.

The DOT approves of JetBlue Airways and British Airways’ new codeshare partnership. On June 7th, formal approval was given.

Under its BA code, British Airways will link its flights from Boston and New York to 75 JetBlue connections throughout the United States. In exchange, JetBlue Airways will expand its network to include British Airways routes to Berlin, Brussels, Frankfurt, Munich, and Paris as well as other European cities.
